The first 6 months of a baby's life is a crucial time for both the parents and baby, since it is the time that the babies need to develop and learn developmental skills that will mold their personality as they grow up. Babies at this early age are very explorative and all things that they come in contact with automatically becomes their toys. 3. Finger puppets are another kind of toys that is recommended for babies within the age of 6 months. This kind of toys helps the baby improve his/her sense of sight as well as sense of hearing since they will be able to interact with the finger puppet at the same time listen to someone who is using the finger puppet to talk to them.

4. Typically, babies at this age is very inquisitive and when they see things that catches their attention, they would also want to touch it as well. That is why it is advisable to provide them with toys or things that has different texture and have the baby touch it or you can rub it into his/her skin, this kind of things and activity will help develop the baby's sense of feel and touch.

5. Rattlers are toys that is provided to be held by babies and when shaken, will produce sounds. This kind of toys comes in different color and design and will help to develop the baby's sense of hearing and sense of sight, at the same time will help to improve your baby's ability to handle and grasp things because they need to hold and shake the rattler for it to produce sounds. Rattlers that are light enough for your baby to handle is recommended when choosing this kind of toy for your baby. Also a colorful rattle is much more preferable to help in developing the baby's sense of sight. Also choose a rattler that produces non-irritating sounds to avoid damaging instead of helping develop the baby's sense of hearing.
